All he has to do is recruit the DC area though...probably one of the top 3 areas for men's bball talent. There's some advantage to be in that area.

Coaches recruit and develop those players. If it's a consistent problem, the buck stops with the head man.
That was always why I scratched my head when people said, "Kennedy only went to 2 Sweet Sixteens because he had some NBA guys". Yes, he did. He recruited those guys to come here and developed them.

Actually, it was his assistant coach that recruited those guys, and he wasn't able to restock the cubbard.

We hit our absolute ceiling with Buzz. This is one of those coaching changes where I'm okay with starting over and trying something else

**** that no-neck fraud. Belly flops at the end of what could have been a great season, leaves the cupboard bare and runs off to a school with few other options to avoid having to clean up his own mess. Not many people besides A&M coaches and ADs get to be completely incompetent while raking in millions. Its like we have Hunter Biden as our AD most of the time.

Do you think that talent wants to hear about tree roots?

Flame away. Good seasons but he fell short. Time for a change in my opinion.

He left because of Alberts. Nobody wants to coach under Alberts. Except football.

I'm afraid you may be right. The Jimbo buyout, and the cautious conservative NIL support may be impacting Aggieland more than most of us realize. We'll have to wait and see.

He left because he wanted a five year extension. And no more cuts to his ridiculously bloated staff of buddies.

Good for Trev saying no to that nonsense.
