College bb officiating is awful and has always been awful. Completely inconsistent. It's why you can't hang your hat on defense in today's game. Defense can be eliminated by ticky tack refs. You have to be able to score to win in March. And by scoring I mean shooting the ball from 3 and creating off the dribble. Long gone are the days of throwing it into the post.
We came back from 12 down with 45 secs left in the game once in the tourney.
Out rebounded 42-34.

We have got to have the worst offense in D1 college basketball. There is absolutely no identity, flow, or rhythm.
They're now on a 10+ minute run and we still have Solo shooting early 3s, Wade shooting from the timeline, never feeding Payne, no adjustment on defense. Whether it's being called fair or not, it's consistent and we have failed to make any adjustment to that as well. It's infuriating.

Fouls are 15 to 20, people don't remember the uh game last year? This isn't in the refs. It's on us not rebounding and not playing sound d. Refs aren't helping but down 9 isn't all refs

The next possession Goldin is hooking Payne and then elbows him in the head, and then somehow gets called for a foul for his 4th.
That ref on the bottom of thenscreen personally changed the game, called at least 6 or 6 touch fouls on us and no whistle against them foe the same plays.

You have to get the ball to Payne down low. Take Coleman out.
Get Wade to only take reasonable 3 pt shots. Wade needs to not try to win the game on every possession, take the ball to the paint and try to pickup fouls.

This game was there to be won early in the 2nd half. Lackadaisical defense and the ineffective press allowed them to hang in.

Team needs to quit pouting and man up.
Guys need to stop pressing. It's just an easy layup nearly every time. Our big men can't protect the rim because then Michigan will just lob it to 7 footer.
Buzz hasn't worked the refs like he should. Force the refs to call it both ways. Be aggressive offensively.
