So...I think I just learned...if the player doesn't release the ball, it's exactly 30 seconds. But if he actually shoots it in time, the clock runs until it's touched. This means that if the clock differential is ~3 seconds, the offense can kill it all by throwing the ball up in the air before the shot clock buzzer.

For those that don't listen to TexAgs radio, David Nuño has Tom Hart on almost weekly as a guest. Really needs to ask him what was up with his calling A&M the "ugly kid that wants to go to prom" comment.

Hart always seems cool as a guest on the show, but his comments today are weird at best.

1. We moved the ball and got it to open shooters. The movement was great, and we took far better shots from 3 than we usually take. In rhythm and wide ass open.
2. We played great defense.

Great ball movement and knocking down open shots, plus our typical offensive rebounding effort made for an awesome half. Hoping that leads to more space for Payne to work here in the 2nd.
