All the data adds up to a 5 seed in my mind.
I will be disappointed with anything higher. Who knows which way the politics will swing it though.

Didn't someone else post that since expansion to 68 teams that the 11 seeds are wining a significant number of the 11-6 matchups?
I prefer to be a 5 seed over the 6 seed. Also makes it that we only have to play the 12 and then the 4 seed that first weekend to get t the Sweet 16.

I think 6 is where we will land. Conf bye is good but I don't expect we will get a chance to move up much before the committee has penciled in their bracket, and like last year, they will not redo at the last minute even if we do really well in the SECT.

Win the SECT and maybe we're bumped to a 4 but mostly as a way to adjust/move other seedings of teams and the committee could easily argue A&M being the hottest team in the country if they did win the conf tourney.
