And please don't post how his family loves College Station. Coaches want to be a head coach. Rick seems to be a die hard SEC guy. And he isn't passing up Bama. As it clearly seems to be the most likely opining.

At some point Bama will see how poor Anthony Grant is as a coach. That said it might not be this year.

Could not help but notice the incredulous look on Stansbury's face while he listened to BK talk to the players during the time out for our last possession. IMO the improvement in this year's performance is entirely due to his influence. I will not be surprised if he leaves, should Bama offer.

Gregg Marshall will be the next coach at IU outside UNC. Never Alabama. That would be like Aggies passing on Buzz Williams times ten. Not a chance. PH is very good, but his narrative that a head coach, a clear SEC lover head coach woukdn't leave is crazy. That said my guess is Bama would try to do better.

Ben, if an NCAA ruling hits, Tenn may have to dump Tyndall. I believe that cloud is still hanging around over the Vols program.

lol read my last post. At some point you tell the NCAA to stick it. They'll be gone in ten years or less. At some point the conferences will stick up for the kids the ncaa f's .

I would've. A BBQ? Take the NCAA the court, support your coach. A coach who pretty much put you on the map, as prior to Pearl lets get real Tennessee was a womens hoops program.

Seems like this argument has come around 100 times, it wasn't just the BBQ, it was lying to the NCAA about the BBQ, and telling the high school players to lie about the BBQ.
You may have a point in that the BBQ, while a violation, was not a huge deal in itself. But instead of coming clean, Pearl tried to cover it up. He has admitted he was wrong to do so.

Lover, I know you're like 17...but when administration asked about the bbq, pearl lied and said there's was nothing to worry about. then the ncaa starts snooping around, and pearl lies twice to them! And tenn was supposed to stick by him?

Great and he paid for it. Tennessee should've stood up for him. At some point a school or conferense will give the NCAA the finger. It's long overdue. The NCAA will be gone in ten years or less.
