NCAA gone within 10 years? Be careful what you ask for! Do you really think the big schools will all just rely on each other to self-police? If it goes away, the big schools will set up another policeman and tu will have more influence with the new policeman than it ever had with the NCAA.

Could not help but notice the incredulous look on Stansbury's face while he listened to BK talk to the players during the time out for our last possession.
Was thinking the same thing when I replayed the game. VERY obvious.

IMO the improvement in this year's performance is entirely due to his influence. I will not be surprised if he leaves, should Bama offer.

Sadly, I agree with this as well. Hoping we get at least a tournament appearance before he moves on

Our Offensive Sets in the last 4 minutes were generally poor. Thankfully, our talent won out over that.

Donovan had about half of the talent we had and nearly beat us on our own court.

I'd prefere anything to the blood sucking ncaa. Kids are the last thing that nazi organization cares about. Syracuse punishing kids to get off the hook is why the NCAA needs to go.

Tyndall may be forced to leave.

I think it's hilarious how we look at our own talent and devalue that of others. Steeple says Donovan has about half the talent we have. That includes 2 McDonalds AA's (Walker, Hill), a Top 50 fresh pg (Chiozza) who was rated higher than Alex Rob. Transfers from Duke (Murphy), Michigan (Horford: 5th year grad Sr), Rutgers (Carter: led Rutgers in scoring as Fr and Soph), and Virginia Tech (Finney-Smith: 2014 SEC 6th Man of Year). Now I'm not saying any of these guys have lived up to their hype/ranking, but if BCG/MT/BK had the same roster anything short of a NCAA Championship would be a colossal failure. There would also be anguish over lack of player development. A&M doesn't have 2 McD AA's in program history. Florida has 2 on this team. We have 2 transfers from the AAC. They have 2 from both the ACC and BIG 10, conferences much better than the lowly SEC by TexAgs standards. Yet despite all these facts, the Ags are underachievers with twice the talent as UF.

Stan, I don't think our players are underachievers. Not in the least. I just think that Florida is much better coached. And I think that Donovan is the best coach in the SEC and one of the best in the country.

Whatever you say about how players are ranked, the proof is in the pudding of conference play. Florida doesn't have a credible Big Man threat. They have had a ton of injuries, and we have fortunately have had no major injuries.

My only point, poorly made, is that if the head coaches switched teams last nite, the Ags would have won going away. Donovan's coaching and Eli's outside shooting kept them in the game.

There is no doubt RS has had a positive impact on this team, but to think a major conference program is going to look to a guy who was at home for three years because of the change we have seen isn't realistic. There are too many other contributing factors here and too many other good candidate options.

And the BS speculation regarding "incredulous looks" and who is sitting next to whom is idiotic BAS at its finest.

Both Walker and Hill are higher ratted recruits than the savior class coming in next season. Gives me pause as both have struggkes their first two seasons. And yes BD is one of the best if not the best coach in basketball.

Every single A&M recruit has seemed to 'give you pause'.

When we got the Jalen Jones transfer, you opined on the fact that he was a player that Larry Brown did not want. Was a 3 trying to play an undersized 4. Would have trouble in conference play. Gave you pause.

When we got the Danuel House transfer, you opined on him be overrated for a 5-star out of high school and soft on defense. Gave you pause.

When a new player does struggle, you often remind everyone how you predicted the struggles.

Now here you go again. Tyler Davis, Elijah Thomas, DJ Hogg, Admon Gilder. Really gives you pause.

I got some good news for you though Ben about next season. We probably will have three seniors Caruso, House, and Jones all returning to the team next season. We will probably have sophomores Alex Robinson, Tonny Trocha, and Peyton Allen returning. Maybe juniors Tavario Miller and Davonte Fitzgerald. We will see...but the odds are good that we won't NEED the 2015 guys to carry the team. We will just need some guys who can come in and contribute some quality minutes as fish role players. The one exception might be a guy like 6'10" 275 Lb Tyler Davis, whom we may need to put in the paint pretty early and often to compensate for Kourtney Roberson moving on.

Which is of course the model Billy Donovan has followed to win a bunch of games.
