I'm a bourbon guy also and I've done well so far, only the one planned drink on my wedding anniversary - Jan. 2. Haven't lost weight but energy levels are definitely up and sleeping through the night. Surprised the sleep improved that quickly.Aggie Therapist said:
Well I was having more bourbon than I probably should nightly…..but didn't have those issues so far. Yay! I'm not an alcoholic.
However, this weight isn't flying off like the user above mentioned.
I need to drink way more water and keep exercising.
Good luck!!Matsui said:

The thing is that it isn't necessarily just about the alcohol. It's the alcohol in addition to making poor dietary decisions (that burger at the bar/drive through looks good) coupled with poor sleep and which makes everything worse. Good sleep is incredibly underrated.TXAG 05 said:
Out of curiosity, how much were y'all drinking? For these effects, it sounds like y'all were getting hammered every night.

People drink too much. It Happens.
That's why they are trying to attempt a dry challenge.
No need for the shame.
