Please provide me with a good proven homemade tortilla recipe. I was a honkey in the Valley and my mom didn't make tortillas. My friends moms did, and I miss those tortillas a lot.

I already buy tortillas like that plays it's two hours to the closest Costco and 45 minutes to the closest HEB.

I love the hill country but it's not very convenient. So when I can't grab some raw ones from HEB I need a recipe to throw some together or I'm at the mercy of what Lowe's market has to offer.

You can also swap the bacon fat with smoked beef tallow and it is absolutely awesome

I use Sonora flour instead of all purpose - it is a lot softer and gives a much better flavor IMO.
