Just an FYI, George T Stagg is from the Buffalo Trace Antique collection and is a very highly sought after bottle. It is tall and skinny. Stagg Jr is the little brother of it and is still quite hard to find but not as coveted. Technically it is missing the "George T." part of the name. It is shorter and squatter. Both are great and that is a fantastic gift. I wasn't aware that either one had a 15 year age statement but I could be wrong about that.
the_batman26: I guess yall need this, its something to take pride in. At least the Feds trusted us with the Space Center; and I seem to recall the Feds not having the best time in Dallas.

The GTS isn't age stated on the bottle but Buffalo trace releases a yearly fact sheet that includes an age statement.

15 years is about typical

As other's have indicated, retail doesn't tell the story on a bottle of George T. Stagg. If you want to know what the MSRP is for taxes or a SO declaration, then $90. If you are asking because you want to reciprocate with a comparable gift, you're looking at anywhere from $600-$850, probably.

If you got Stagg Jr., then it's about $60 at MSRP, and anywhere from $100 to $150 on the secondary market.

Should have also added that I have not seen a bottle on the shelf anywhere close to retail in over 5 years.

Pretty sure if it was a work vendor gift, all whiskey bottles can just be reported as Jim Beam, which goes for about $24. hth

Depending on the vendor, but it might be Jim Beam in a resealed Stagg bottle.

I won a raffle to buy one last year for 150 at Goody Goody. That's a great gift.
