They raised retail this year, so it doesn't have much secondary incentive. It was closer to $70 last year, then they raised retail price about $20-25 bottle. Kind of like Blantons retail closer to $90 now but I see it selling for $100-110 pretty often.

I can see what Jack fans would like it, but it has that same charcoal aftertaste that turns me off to Jack. I would rather get a JD SBBS, and now it's significantly cheaper.

I bought a bottle last year and wasn't impressed either and I like a lot of bottles from OF. Turned it down at retail this year. Seems like more of the hype is out of state since they can't get it as easy.

I bought two OF King Ranch at $90 when it came out. Was available in my small little place and wanted to try it. Thought it would be great as I am a HUGE OF fan. Was a bit over MSRP, but I was fine with it.

It was good. I liked it at the time, but I've upped my game since following bourbon. I've gone thru one bottle and have one left. I will open it and drink it, but honestly, I've got several more that I like better.

I hate how this thread has turned into a price ****ting thread.

Bottles move at right price and they don't at the wrong price. Pretty simple.

Not everyone knows the exact market value of every bottle and not everyone should be expected to sell bottles way below market because "muh aggies"

I realize some bottles are outrageous price. Talk about them being high and move on. Bashing aggies about not being good aggies is not the way to do it imo.
