Going with the OG William and Mary tonight.

Steer clear of the 2020 silver oaks wines, they were the biggest buyer of bulked off grapes and juice in the valley. They got a great bargain on a lot of smoke tainted grapes and juice and bottled it without hesitation.

I was wondering where all that wine went! I honestly don't think I've had a Silver Oak in about 20 years. We were gifted a bottle as a house warming gift when we moved last summer but I haven't opened it. I'll probably gift it back to the same guy who brought it (he'll think it's funny so win-win).

Cade, Im the same, as are most on this thread. I think I have two Pinots left from 2020. I've contacted Ridge to take back my Monte Bellos (different county but still had fires).

Can any of you please recommend a trustworthy website to buy a single bottle Lynch Bages? Not sure what vintage yet. Thanks.

My local Total Wine normally has multiple vintages in stock and available. Beyond that I always start with Benchmark Wine if I'm looking for a particular older vintage, but there inventory always varies.

We visited Stag's Leap Cellars back in October. It's an amazing place.

Pinot Marathon today on last bottle for anybody interested. Seen some pretty interesting offerings come through so far.

whoever was asking about Italian finds:

Costco has this Avignonesi from Montepulciano for $24 which I think is insane. Big fan of many of their wines but this is quite the value. Montepulciano is sometimes a town name and sometimes a varietal name - - this is the town which i prefer.




Also lastbottle has this Brunello for 39

how was it? A bit early, I would think...

It's a Sangiovese and Cab blend.

It was really good, taste some fruit (dark fruit imo) really good but a tad boozy (not sure the right term but had just a small amount of heat) could see a couple of years making it fantastic. But I'm still really new to wine scene. Beer and bourbon are my go to
