Just added a split of '97 Yquem.

I haven't tasted any.
I bought a couple of his Ontogeny at Total Wine, just under a hundred. Parker has it a 99.
If memory serves is was the "Proprietary Red" and HEB definitely put 100pt on it by Parker, and the HEB employee was proud of their "first 100 point wine". Retail $199, HEB sale $125.

"Another perfect wine is Bevan's equal part blend ofMerlot and Cabernet Franc, the 2012 Bevan Cellars Proprietary Red
Sugarloaf Mountain. Notes of unsmoked cigar tobacco, forest floor, pen
ink mulberries, blackberries and spring flowers soar from this
inky/purple-colored 2012. The wine possesses great intensity, remarkable
unctuosity and thickness, and perfect integration of acidity, alcohol,
tannin and wood. Aged in equal parts new Gamba and Darnajou barrels,
there are 25 cases of this fabulous wine. Drink now-2032." -100 Points Robert Parker
"The 2012 Bevan Cellars Sugarloaf Mountain Proprietary Red is more serious than the previous vintage and puts out more aromatics and
texture. The nose is all bittersweet chocolate and flowers. On the
palate, the middle gives and then gives more. Rich and a little naughty.
The Cabernet Franc provides backbone and an amazing complexity of
flavor." -96 Points Wine Spectrum
quote:Oooohhhhh That would be a bottle I would want to try. Their Proprietary Red is one of my favorites.
I just secured an '06 AO Proprietary Red. I'm pretty pumped about it!
quote:I am also a member of the AO wine club. Busted open some AO Malbec last night as we just wanted a bottle of something different and it was a nice surprise. I really enjoy their wines.
I have down AO sleeping in the cellar right now. It's one of the very few wine clubs that I belonged to. I can't wait to drink yhe 2010 Stagecoach. It was incredible out of the barrel!
Also, the customer service at AO is fantastic. Jean is a good man and I highly suggest meeting him if you are ever out there.
