A while back I printed out my list, went to the lockers and did a pretty thorough inventory update. I also wanted to get the lockers better organized since bottles were in random crates. I succeeded, not only in getting the wine figured out, but also in making my back hurt for a full week by picking up and setting down crates over and over again. it's still up to date because I never want to do that again.

We had a 2019 Acre merlot last night.

Not a great wine but an easy drinker for a Friday. Beautiful bottle, too.

what was the alcohol?

When my wine journey began around 2010 or so this was one of the first wineries I liked. Great history and really rich wines. I'm pretty sure I had a pinot in excess of 16% from them and the zins can blow your doors off.

I haven't had one in a while, but would like to revisit a recent zin.

Bingo. Used it for couple decades but my cellar never truly reflected what CT said I had. Too easy to pull a bottle out and not remember to update or make a note.

We bought a mixed case of 2009 Bordeaux and a case of 2009 Burgs for my son's birth year. I really hope he doesn't like wine because then…hey…more for me!
