I saw the Specs drop is in SA this year. Anyone know what store it may be?
The one at Smith Street in Houston is supposedly Saturday. I went there on Monday and there were already 5 tents set up. I talked to the guy who was first in line and he started camping out on Sun so he will spend 6 nights in line.

Usually one type of bottle per person. OWA/WFP is pick one or the other. Then near the end they have a table or two of random stuff that is pick one from the entire selection.
I think last year there were a bunch of WSiB on the last pick one from the mix table that the first 50-60 in line got.

Has anyone heard of Hogsworth? I just received a bottle as a gift and it's pretty intriguing. Apparently the brand was started from the guy who started Whistle Pig. It's a blend of bourbon and armagnac
I was at a tasting for WhistlePig a few weeks back, and they were strangely cryptic about a founder who was no longer with the company. He definitely sounded like an eccentric, but one who knew whiskey.
I had a sample at specs a couple weeks ago. Didn't enjoy it much really. Interesting concept and didn't hate it but wouldn't buy a bottle personally

Any notes on this? First time buyer but read some interesting reviews. I'm a sucker for stuff distilled in Texas that I haven't tried.

Hmm, now I'm questioning whether I'm gonna go. When I went morning of last year, I think was roughly 500-550. Sounds like I'd be quite a bit further back same time this year.
