Honestly I haven't been drunk like that since, and this was a good reminder of what it was like. I might joke about being "drunk" now, but I won't ever be like that. Feels good to know that I can enjoy whiskey without being that guy ever again.

Sounds like you grew up a lot. Learned from your actions. We don't need to erase the past, but learn from it. That's why college is…..college.
For my money you really can't beat British speakers. I've had plenty of different systems over the years and always keep going back to them.
Oh lawd, that's a good one. Well juiced and bought a very expensive elephant parade replica from Tangs on orchard road in Singapore, love that thing and proudly sits in my dining room. A wristwatch i have no reason to own. A bar tab that would make you blush after the Ags beat zero u in the cotton bowl... Singapore was fun

The Willett tour was my least favorite of all I did, but their bar was very good.
Makers Mark and Woodford Reserve by far have the best properties and offer great tours. Believe it or not Wild Turkey was not bashful about finances and taxes. I found it interesting. Willett used to sell Family Reserve Bourbon (11 yr, 12yr, and 13yr) regularly. Its a shame they stopped. Heaven Hill down the road is a great tour.

I was really dumb. I mean I made the angry drunk college dudes look smart sometimes.
Edit to add - took me looking at my life and realizing I was headed toward alcoholism to turn my life over to Jesus. I slowed my roll considerably since then.

Most memorable was a subscription to eHarmony a while after I divorced my first wife when my buddy visited over Memorial Day weekend after he returned to the states from being deployed in the Middle East. I had resisted online dating big time, and talking to him about his family made me say screw it and sign up. I had no recollection until I saw the emails the next day about setting up a profile. Said what the hell and gave it a shot. Now I'm very happily married to a woman I met through eHarmony, and we have three amazing young children.
Moral of the story - not EVERY drunk decision is a bad decision!

That might be the Private Barrel instead of the normal batch, but my local Specs did just get regular ECBP not too long ago.

Im lucking i got out of there without dropping a ton of cash. I did pick up a Stranahan's Empire State Brandy Cask that is supposed to be distillery only? and a bottle of Westward Stout cask that i have been looking for.

It is their big annual release. 192 is a little over MSRP but certainly not crazy.
Not crazy at all. I have KC18 from last year that I really like. Prefer it over the 15yr.
What are your thoughts on these bottles? Both are around $80 each. They also had an EHT single barrel store pick for $200 (I'm passing on this one).
