Friday night question for the bourbon board:
And I'm NOT condoning this!
What is the most expensive thing you have purchased while drunk? Online, in person, etc

Other people's drinks. A lot of other people's drinks.
Honestly I haven't been drunk like that since, and this was a good reminder of what it was like. I might joke about being "drunk" now, but I won't ever be like that. Feels good to know that I can enjoy whiskey without being that guy ever again.

It's probably not available this late, but I really enjoyed the tour and tasting at Lux Row in Bardstown.
The Willett tour was my least favorite of all I did, but their bar was very good.

I don't remember...but probably several times.
I was really dumb. I mean I made the angry drunk college dudes look smart sometimes.
Edit to add - took me looking at my life and realizing I was headed toward alcoholism to turn my life over to Jesus. I slowed my roll considerably since then.

Most memorable was a subscription to eHarmony a while after I divorced my first wife and my buddy visited over Memorial Day weekend after her returned to the states from being deployed in the Middle East. I had resisted online dating big time, and talking to him about his family made me say screw it and sign up. I had no recollection until I saw the emails the next day about setting up a profile. Said what the hell and gave it a shot. Now I'm very happily married to a woman a met through eHarmony, and we have three amazing young children.
Moral of the story - nor EVERY drunk decision is a bad decision!

Yes, but I don't know the price. Could be on the higher side as it's a small mom and pop. I can ask if I swing by tomorrow.

Thank you, I did not even think to search Specs online. I went by one yesterday and today with no luck.

That might be the Private Barrel instead of the normal batch, but my local Specs did just get regular ECBP not too long ago.

Thanks again. I actually don't think I have had a private barrel ECBP.
Finally cracked mine open and it is so good. I went ahead and picked up another bottle.ConfidentAg said:
