Oh interesting. I didn't know that. I had heard there were some questions about whether they actually sourced their juice and lied about it but hadn't heard that.

Still a bottle I would grab if I had the opportunity. It's a cool pour.

Great photos and even better Bourbon.

But don't you hate restaurants that serve tiny morsels of food whose sole purpose is to be aesthetically pleasing on the plate instead of being filling and tasting great? (And maybe these did taste great.)

It almost makes you wish for chicken fried steak (from a beer batter), gravy and biscuits.

We should do a TexAgs bourbon meet-up at Moonshine Bar and Grill in North Austin.

The bourbon is great and the food is spectacular.

You can buy ECBP online at the Heaven Hill Distillery website. Although the bottle pictured is the C924 batch, they won't guarantee that is what you are going to get - you get whatever batch is in stock.

All considering, that appears to be slightly less than secondary on some of those. Unlike those dip****s at Premier that try to charge an extra 20% over secondary

It was tempting to spend the money on some of those. But I already spent a couple hundred yesterday. The store is Camelot in SW Houston, on Braeswood near Gessner. Strip center with Fiesta.
