Interested to hear what you think of the EC. They had some at the Spec's on Rock Prairie today, but I passed on it at that price point.

I've had bad luck with store picks recently. Got a Woodford Double Oaked one while in southeast Texas, and the picker's palate must have been very different from mine. Anyway, if I can find someone to sign off on the EC store pick, I might give it a whirl

What I've found in my extremely limited bourbon experience is that if I like the brand (Elijhah Craig) regular strength, then I love their higher proof bourbons as well. If I don't like the brand, then I really don't like their higher proof bourbons.

I love the ECBP. But, I love every EC I've had,

That ECBP is one of my favorites.

Most ECBP store picks that I have seen are $85.00 or more, and that makes me hesitate most of the time.

Just picked up a KC9 single barrel reserve and a bottle of Rowan's Creek to celebrate bringing my baby boy home.

I'm always up for taking a chance on McK 10 at $60ish.

Sure, it's inconsistent. If you get a great barrel, those are better than Eagle Rare, IMO

If you get a "meh" barrel...you have a 100 proof sipper or cocktail mixer.

Prices of everything are up. At $60, there isn't a whole heck of a lot. WT RB being the stand out.
