Word on the street is that Frey Ranch is getting ready to release some single barrel stuff. I doubt it makes its way to B/CS, but I'll be stoked if it does. The tasting note on it was cream cheese frosting.
Their Uncut bottle is the best thing I have open right now. I like it more than EH Taylor, Antique 107, and Eagle Rare. That may be an unpopular opinion, but it's the winner for my palate.

I've seen Peerless Double Oaked a few times a specs and TW in the Houston area. Just pop in a few shops in between seeing recruits

Well, most of what I've learned/tasted has come from Brewzle. I highly recommend his YouTube channel. Very informative and entertaining.

Good like finding that EHT in the wild. I was lucky to find a bottle of RHF for msrp in Port A a while back. Only time I've ever seen it though. Happy to send you a sample of the RHF and Peerless DO if you want to try them. Both great pours.

I haven't had the Barrel proof Frey Ranch yet, but heard it's fantastic. Tried the regular Frey ranch this weekend and it was pretty good but nowhere close to what I expected based on all the praise they get.

I had the regular back in December and it was just meh to me. The single barrel is quite good although I didn't think it was as "hot" as others did.
