I'm pretty sure the Cigar Blend launched with a MSRP of $150 (or close to it). So a hike to $209 MSRP seems pretty moderate to me. But to each their own. I was more than comfortable paying this price since I've had it before and LOVED it.

That's funny you said that, I have a deal going with my wife and kids that I will not buy any bourbon in 2024. There are exceptions for special/unicorn bottles. But definitely going to cut back and try to enjoy what we have.

American Single Malt's and Rye's aren't Bourbons. Technically neither is anything that is finished. Worse comes to worse there are plenty of stuff you can still pick up without technically violating the agreement.

Speaking of Bourbon inflation, the wife and I went by Spec's (Bastrop) to pickup another of our go-to Rebecca's Creek Blended Whiskey but also wanted to try something else. That something else was Garrison Brothers (small batch); but, HOLY SMOKES BATMAN!...$81 for .750 liter bottle?!?! Passed on that and got bottle of Woodford Reserve instead for $37.

Walked into Specs today and just looked at the prices and said nah I'm good.

Ended up walking out with a muffaletta sandwich. Their grill is very good

NC is the promise land. I am thankful to be a Texan but happy to live here. BBQ much better in TX though

We moved from (south) Austin a couple of years ago and ate at their deli/grill quite often. It's quite underrated. We have to split their burgers they're so big!...and good. Lots of variety on their menu. And, yes, their muffalattas' are very good too! If that's your go-to liquor store, your go-to sales-person there would be Trevor; he's been there a while and is very knowledge on all things alcohol...especially wine (we're wino's too...the wife's a sommelier. Makes sense, eh?)

I remember house hunting around Fort Bragg and the first Mexican restaurant we went to had wine based margaritas and cheese sauce.

You gotta learn to adapt. The pork based bbq is on point there
