Lucky me, had Harris County jury duty this morning but they cut us free early so popped into Spec's on Smith, grabbed a ECBP Spec's Private Barrel 8 year and a Blue Note Special Reserve Cask Finished Series.
I somehow missed this was 8 year and passed on it. But they had 7 or so cases of this stacked up. If you open it and say it's worth the cost ($92/cash) let me know.

Not the only one but Early Times BIB is a good cheap option.
It's a good one. I brought a bottle back after doing a tour/tasting there. It's great to finally see it on the shelves now.

The best cheap sipper that I have found is Early Times BIB. I haven't found a black top version, which is supposed to be even better, but the metal top is completely fine.
Our tastes have gotten much better but that SB and coke makes me think Hurricane Harry's too.
