Oh that's good to know. I was under the impression it was just the drop This Saturday. Too bad they didn't let you take little sip
One of the volunteers helping with the bottling was trying to share with us on the tour (he was clearly enjoying the quality control samplings) but the actual employees shot that down REAL fast!
Sure is a pretty bottle and the whiskey is really dark, almost Cowboy dark, and 114 proof.

Local got a case of SB and UCtY. They've got the small batch priced higher than this Uncut. Absurd. UCtY is miles better.
Better bang for buck than UCUF, although UCUF is better by a good margin.
They're on the shelf and only took two in two days. If it's sitting there next week I'll buy the rest. At $43 it's a cinnamon bomb (as are most SW), and I love it.

I see Lady Bird is honey-infused. Their Honeydew might be the worst I've ever had. But everyone has different tastes.

Got word that GTS will be dropping here pretty soon in SA, and some of the smaller mom/pop shops are getting a decent amount.
Isn't GTS usually a December drop?

VA just had the BTAC lottery a week or two ago when it used to be an early January event. Im guessing maybe the distribution changes means that there was a staggered release for some places this year.

UCUF is one of my daily drinkers
SW seems pretty much fully stocked these days - have seen rows of UU and all others at several stops lately
SW is all available on their website for a modest shipping charge too
This is how I get SW, and sometimes they give free shipping on orders over x dollars. If I need to reload I just hop on their website and order to my heart's content
It's a solid pour. Classic MGP. This wasn't aged in TX. Straight out of those old Seagrams stocks. It's not a world beater, but for 12 year cask strength MGP (lower proof but still CS), I think it damn fine bourbon. It's not as good as the sourced Boone Counties or Blaum Brothers, but those are going for almost 10 times more and you can still find these on the shelf for 90.tk127ag said:

Y'all are correct, the new distributors are having logistic issues on their end. Was told all the big box stores are going to get it before it gets sent to the smaller shops.

I agree, most of the larger stores have a list/points system and you'll never see one on their shelves. Hence why I mentioned that the smaller stores will be getting some and you may have the opportunity to grab one with them.
I like all 4 for different reasons. I tend to go to Small Batch more often but, like last night, had a nice pour of Uncut the Younger. UU is more of a special occasion for me these days and Straight Bourbon is nice in an Old Fashioned.FTAC2011 said:

Like others have mentioned, surprised at how frequently I'm seeing SW on the shelf when, like others have also mentioned, I used to have to order it.
Anyone heard of this one? They wanted $500 a pour needless to say it was a hard pass, but I have never heard of it.
