Local store has had a bunch of the lower proof bottles sitting on the shelves for weeks. Randomly stopped by and they had this one hiding behind a 104 proof. May be able to grab another one, working with my guy to see if he has any other barrels over 120 proof. Would be willing to grab one for someone else if they're interested/can make it down to SA eventually.

Great snag.

I actually like the lower proof ones more! I was surprised at that, but the 104 proof beat the 124 proof HTH for me.

Has anyone tried Treaty Oak Ghost Hill SiB finished in White Wine Barrels yet? Should be interesting to see how it compares to their other offerings (which I'm not too fond of) and other Texas bourbons.

Yeah, I was after a high proof bottle and make it a charity bottle as well. Proceeds would go to Blue Skies Foundation and we could dip the wax in the foundations main colors (blue and red). Obviously, can be a different organization or charity, but I think it would be a wonderful way to generate some good funds for a good cause. We could tack on a few more dollars to each bottle or Garrison could work with us on that as well.
