Wait a couple of weeks after combing. It is really good
Wait longer. I have done it several times. Much better at 3 months than it is at 3 weeks. Better than the sum of the parts.

the little old lady on the box offends me. I know lots of Mexican women and they don't look and like they spend all day in the kitchen.MarathonAg12 said:

I want to get on the Four Roses list and get a call in about 20 years.
Id love a SW PB but haven't seen them as much recently. I would be curious about their private barrel selectionMarathonAg12 said:That would be a hell of a pick bromigoShaggie 05 said:

Smoke Wagon Private Barrel would be great and really popular here

Yep. Everyone just needs to shoot their shot in a team effort. You never know who might say yes.
Penelope? Their cask strength has been pretty tastyMarathonAg12 said:
So what pick should we do next?
Aaron has stated multiple times that the private barrel program is discontinued.AGdent07 said:Id love a SW PB but haven't seen them as much recently. I would be curious about their private barrel selectionMarathonAg12 said:That would be a hell of a pick bromigoShaggie 05 said:

That makes sense then. I don't follow or keep up with them. That's too bad because some of them were really good.William Larue Weller said:Aaron has stated multiple times that the private barrel program is discontinued.AGdent07 said:Id love a SW PB but haven't seen them as much recently. They were incredible. The problem is just that there were only so many barrels left of old MGP juice, and it seems they've mostly run out.AGdent07 said:That makes sense then. Some are incredible, but it's not a fair comparison. The SW red dots are 8-13 year old MGP juice. The RC16 are 16 year old pre-MGP Seagram's juice. While some of the SW red dots are admittedly incredible, they aren't on the same tier, given age and sourcing. These RC16s are going to be $1k+ bottles in a few years. I doubt the SWs get to that level, but you never know.MarathonAg12 said:
Never had a PB from SW.
How does it compare to the RC 16 juice?
Thanks!
