In Texas, smaller distributors around Texas were awarded Sazerac contracts and now deliver their products.

In Texas specifically, sazerac is using distributors that primarily only handled beer before this year. These distributors are smaller, and cover smaller areas than Republic used to. It's been a whole thing down here so far this year

At the end of the day it's all about relationships and the amount of effort you put into hunting or establishing a personal relationship with employees at the store. That's just how life works.

If you want to prioritize working and taking care of your family instead of hunting for bourbon, thats on you.

Good point. Guess I need to decide if my relationship with my wife and kids is more important or snagging some good whiskey at MSRP.

I can't remember the last time I saw Buffalo Trace on the shelf and never seen a bottle of Eagle Rare. South Florida sucks for bourbon
