Why yes, actually...we did.

Houston Galleria, King Ranch Kitchen. VERY good whiskey bar and they usually have several BTAC. Like most places, they have a few way over priced. But they have several way undervalued as well.

Best whiskey deal in town is Twin Peaks on Thursday. Doubles of Pappys 12 for 20 bux. Yes, we drank the whole bottle of that too last week. Will probably drink the GTS this week. Only issue, you have to tolerate being at Daddy Issues Diner. Miserable.

I got a place where I'm at that still has 2018 and 2019 WLW pours for 22 bucks. I'm pretty sure I'm drinking those bottles by myself

It is absolutely gonna affect them if you're gonna pop right in and drink the rest of their fave perfect year BTAC, etc. they've been enjoying a little at a time. Not saying YOU would, but there's plenty of eyes here who have no code.

That's fair. It ultimately doesn't affect me much for them to not say either. But then why post about it if they want it to be a secret? It comes across a little weird to be talking with a group of enthusiasts and mention it if you have no intention of helping them.

Fair point on being happy for someone else though. I enjoy hearing my friends talk about cool pours they have had so why should this be any different.

Edit to add: no desire for an argument either. At the end of the day it's only bourbon.

Amen. I get where you're coming from and it seems like bragging. I think some people get really excited at a good deal but want to protect it from super taters at the same time.

You know, the guy who calls 5 of his buddies and says "We can go empty a GTS tonight for cheap, saw it on this site I get on". Then the guy who shared comes back and alas, there's no more. Not that he shouldn't share that info with close friends either. I try to look at it both ways, and didn't mean to appear argumentative either!
