read the release letters and you might get an idea
That is a fire in a bottle.AGdent07 said:
You are correct. That's an older style bottle of ORVW 10. To be honest it didn't really stand out from the others. It was amazing but there were some really special bourbons there at had alot of wow factor. Following the WLW up with ORVW 10 probably didn't do it any justice either. There are alot of others that we sampled that arent pictured there. We had anywhere between 12-15 different pours.
My personal fave was the Thomas Handy BTAC. I was really let down by the Eagle Rare 17 BTAC (it was a unicorn for me and probably overhyped).
Dude I can get ER at $35 all day. Maybe I can ship a few.. but it may make it a bit cost prohibitive.cclearman said:
Handy is the best I've had. But I haven't had most of the highest end Bourbons. Have 2 unopened bottles saved for special celebrations. But I was gifted those, I would never pay for these high dollar bottles.
I'm just pissed that all this chaos makes it so hard to find affordable Eagle Rare. I'm perfectly content paying for that quality.
I'm your new buyer. Let me know how I can get you paid.Deats said:

My other buyer fell through.

I don't know. Those are my favorites. I don't even think I can procure the WFE even from Drew anymore since they kick-started their own distillery.
I would trade 1 of the 25 yr WFE, but it is equivalent to Pappy.

I got more stuff I am selling at cost if the bottles nazis will chill the **** out.
How would one run across a bottle that was released thirty years or so ago without using a secondary market?showtime said:
Anybody run across AH Hirsch Reserve 16? The one with "bottled in 1974" on the label?

Just picked up an EHT Straight Rye from Total Wine in the Arboretum in Austin. They had 5 left when I left the store 15 minutes ago.
