You can still find it on some shelves in Texas as supplies are quickly dwindling. It is sad they're stopping distribution to Texas, but I get their thinking.

They are wanting to make it a special Kentucky-only release, scaling it back from nationwide. I've heard they want to use some of the extra distillate they'll save from the move to put towards other special releases and the like.

I'd probably avoid it unless you love Japanese whiskys and never see it in stores, in which case I could maybe talk myself into doing it once.

I'm sure the demand for that right now is around that price at most stores but I got lucky and found a bottle at Specs for something around $90 a couple months ago

Maybe sip some whiskey and relax enough to remove the stick from your ass. No one is forcing you to go to a drag show, sweetheart. And honestly if you did you'd probably enjoy it. It's been a long time since I've been to one but they've always been fun even when I wasn't as open minded as I am now.

Distillery release was early October, it's been shipped out to other retailers already but it seems like Texas hasn't had it yet. One of my local guys keeps thinking it'll be any day but so far no other info

The cocktails at the distillery/saloon are great, stop in for a drink if they're open. They may still have some stock of the new Prisoner's Share release as well

No one said you have to support them. It's boycotting a company because they do support them is what puts you into Redwood territory.
