Hadn't seen it at that level of available, but then again, I haven't been to Total Wine, WB Coscto, or OLC.

What is OLC and where is it located?

Is Knob Creek 9yr single barrel 120 proof picking up?

What do you mean by picking up? It doesn't have after market value yet (I'd guess ever). Some of the earlier bottles that had bottling dates of 12+ years do, but not the 9yr.

It's a very good high proof bottle and one of the most readily available on a shelf in Houston at $50-$60. I think Rare Breed is a little better especially at $40 (starting to see it over $50 some places) and even more available.

The KC120 is comparable quality to OF1920 and BM Cask IMO.

KC does have a very distinct flavor throughout all their lineup.

Specs is also getting the Bookers 21-01 Donahoe Batches, yesterday and today across DFW.

Total Wine and Goody Goody in DFW should have deliveries of Harbinger 115, and the new Grayson distillery bourbon by tomorrow.

I'm particularly interested in the Grayson product. Ironroot, Five Points, and Balcones distilleries all collaborated on this one. My bottle is arriving via mule today.

I get dry roasted peanuts and peanut brittle from all the bookers batches. Haven't had KC in over 15 years and really don't remember what it was like. But I do have a 9 year that i'm probably going to open pretty quick here to find out.

And after tomorrow you can see how it compares to the KC12 as well. Lower proof but 3 years older.

Since we are on KC, I'll offer my take.

9 is good

12 is fantastic

15 doesn't justify the cost over 12, IMO.

12 is absolutely where its at. And its on the shelf all the dang time.

Maybe my fav bottle of "I can buy this whenever" stuff.

I can't find it in my area of central Texas.

I haven't seen 12 in a good long while

So I've decided to stop drinking altogether.

Which means my collection (if you can call it that--nothing too special) is going to be sold off. What is the best way to research approximate value before posting here? I have never done anything on the secondary market so I don't even know where to look.
