I just had a glass of RHF for the first time this weekend at a spot in Dallas and it definitely lived up to the hype for me. Extremely smooth and easy to put down. Made me wish I was able to find a bottle when it came through earlier this year.

I was there when they opened this morning and got the Parker's Heritage 11 year bourbon. I got the Elijah Craig 18 yr from Specs last month and it's outstanding.

Bourbon novice (millennial) looking for good recommendations in the $80-$100 or lower range. The best I've had is belle meade (loved it) besides basics like bulleit, beam, yellow rose, and a few other cheaper bourbons.

Going up in price doesn't necessarily get you a better pour. Most of my favorites are less than $50
