Was digging around in the back of the cabinet for the Rittenhouse for a Manhattan and found a bottle of EHTBP that my (then gf) now wife gave me for v-day in 2014! This whole time I thought the tube was empty and we drank it way back then. I have been kinda bummed not seeing it in Houston. Now I don't want to open it.
I had a good day today as well. Grabbed a couple bottles of SAOS 11 year sbcs as well as a yearling 3 year 375ml from them. Also scored 2 EHTBP. They had a few things that they highly recommended that I had never heard of. It was sourced and bottled by kbd, taos lightening and turley mill rye.

That stuff is crazy sweet.
I didn't think the KC2001 was much better than standard stuff. Most single barrel store picks beat it at a third of the price.
I liked KC2001 batch 2 but definitely not worth the $130 I paid for it.
