Redbreast CS, Green Spot and Yellow Spot are all excellent. YS is probably my favorite Irish whiskey though. Good way to avoid the Bourbon craze and drink an amazing Whiskey.

Is there anything different or is it just the commemorative packaging? I'm guessing it's not for drinking and only for collecting but at $86 I would still have a hard time justifying purchasing.

Makers does a lot of commemorative bottlings like that. Nice to put on a bar shelf if its something important to you, but otherwise it's just a really expensive bottle of regular Makers.

Yes, it's regular old Maker's. Maker's collectors are a different breed. Its about the bottles and not the whiskey. They display them and never drink them. I got a 1983 Maker's and 1996 Denim bottle and a Maker's collector wanted to choke me for opening them and drink them. The 83 is nice, and the 96 is way better than the modern stuff, although the Maker's 46 Cask Strength is special. Can't wait for it to hit the shelves.

I might.

I'm really surprised it's not on there. I'm not a bottle collector at all (not even a huge fan of Makers Mark in general). That's the one and only Makers bottle I own. And I don't think it's anything particularly rare or special. Maybe it's just an oversight on their part.

I have the Secretariat bottle I purchased a few months ago. Never plan on opening it and don't care for Makers but I do love that horse

makers did orange and blue wax for the broncos superbowl here, nothing different for the label however. I think they were priced the same as any other bottle of makers.

This sounds about right. You can get gold at masterofmalt for $75 and then shipping is about another $40-$50.
