Man, I have been a Grand Reserve member for a number of years and am currently at 77,000 points this year. Never got a single thing from TW. Also a Specs Black level every year, and nothing from them either. How high do you need your points to be before you start getting these, or is it pure luck of the draw?

It's wild that the price has gone up, nobody seems to like it, yet you can't find it in the shelf.
I've been Grand Reserve at TW for 2-3 years now, and I think I've only seen one email this year (early) to sign up for anything. Last year I recall 3 or so, but got nothing.
Flog me if you want but I would take that blantons. I'm new and never owned one. Of course there is better. I've seen a couple for $150+ so I would take $85 at least this once.
Because people know they can flip it on secondary for a net $15.

The Twins near me had it on the shelf the two weeks leading up to dollar days.
It's good, and the bottle is iconic, but it's not worth the hype to many of the bourbon enjoyers. I like it, but didn't buy any at the new price. There are plenty of other things at a lower price I enjoy more.

Blantons is a great find for the first time. I remember my first one. Now I'd prefer others but a fun find
