My wife was up in Sonoma this weekend visiting friends. She came home with some Cellarmakers, Fieldworks, and Pliny for Pres. pretty good haul.

She said she wanted to save 2 PfP for Election Day, and my first thought was how likely is that when you only brought 8 home? I didn't say that though.


This Cellarmaker - Investment Danking - DIPA is a banger. I should pay more attention to this brewery.

I've been to Blind Tiger and Proletariat. I've heard Torst and The Jeffrey are great places.

Never been to NYC, but based on looking at the labels on cans of NY beers that i like, it appears Brooklyn is a brewery hot spot.

My supply challenge has been solved by the beauty of online ordering and overnight shipping.

Now instead of strict rationing, I can go with relative moderation and still have some left for Election Day.

They only ship in CA and use Golden State Overnight, so the dumb TX law doesn't really factor in. I guess I hit the sweet spot though, as it isn't available online now. I was surprised to see it on Monday, so I jumped on it.

Things got extra classy at our local grocery store today, so I was able to directly compare can vs bottle one after another. It is probably just because I've mostly had it in cans, and a handful of times on draft in a bar, but the bottle left me wanting to have another can, even though I have another bottle in the fridge.

I don't know, but probably. First one I've seen in person. Apparently some local bottle shops were posting they had it, but with a 1 bottle limit. It's like PtE back in 2015.
