Before we went to Portugal I googled "Portugal Breweries" and clicked on a few that seemed to be in the general vicinity of where we were going to be. Today we had an hour or two to kill so we went to Andsome Beer in Lourinha a little ways north of Lisbon (and south of Nazare for you 100' Wave Fans). When we turned down this alley following Waze my wife went "Where are we going?"

Great beer, great conversation with the owner.

The owner recommended a beer bar in Peniche where we are staying tonight. When we got to our Air BNB it was directly next door. Had a good IPA , brown ale and this Belgian Ale by KWAK?

Went to Tree House Tewksbury today for Pizza and Beer for lunch plus picked up my to go order. I've picked up beer a few times in the past but this is my first time to go inside. They purchased this Country Club building and golf course in 2022. The building and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The pizza was really good and for the first time in a long time a large pizza was actually large. The beers are always good. I had a Jubilee a IINEIPA with my pizza, Wifey had a Pride & Purpose a 5% American Pale Ale. I had a Summer IINEIPA for dessert. It was a good place to hang out for an afternoon and soak up A/C. It got up to 95 today, currently its 87 inside the house. Getting a beer there is sort of like getting soup from the Soup Nazi though.

More hotel beer. Out in CA for work, I had put my name on a list for the Blantons 1.5 years ago at the class six before moving to CO last summer. Randomly got a call today while I'm out here that they got a bottle in. Now trying to figure out how to make room in my carry on luggage to now check and get it back home

Lazarus has never really done it for me. I've tried it numerous times and always come away wishing it was better than it is.

ABGB is fantastic for lagers, helles and pilsner. I would also toss in St. Elmo along with the others the folks above have thrown out.

Yes, all your beer dreams can come true. Staying at Drekker's hotel Brewhalla. Incredible space with about 6 restaurants downstairs. Drove up here to see Band of Horses in concert, figured that this was better than the Hilton

This brewery is pretty solid. A good 10 plus offerings on tap they have spanning most styles Americans are used to, and 4-5 of them bottled in stores.

Pain in the ass though because at stores they sell craft beers as singles only. Buying 20-30 bottles of beers as singles is not ideal lol.

This is a slightly sour red.

A couple from yesterday: Jumped on my bike and rode to Outrider Brewing for a beer and brunch. Too bad they didn't have Barbecue to complete the alliteration (I go by Bobby I guess I could have added that in). They just put on a nice mango and pineapple sour which I was hesitant about. The beer server/ owner gave me a sample as I sat down and it was delicious. The fruit was very subtle. Wifey had an American (now apparently called a clear) IPA. Later in the afternoon I dove into my Tree House haul and shared a "Your Most Cherished Future Memories Are Happening Right Now" IINEIPA with Wifey. It was really nice with notes of stone fruit and melon.
