Hey, question... any of y'all ever seen a clear IPA? I grabbed some beers from H-E-B this evening and when I got home and opened this bottle, it was clear. Does that mean it's gone bad?

Was this on purpose? If it was I don't know if this trend will take off.

Went to Carney's in Bryan this evening just to have a pint of El Segundo's Mayberry IPA, a WC IPA!!!

Mayberry is a good West Coast IPA daily drinker. El Segundo puts out a lot of solid beers. Broken Skull was readily available at a local place for the last 6 months, but their distributor stopped supplying last month.

They think they may start getting it again soon, which will make me much happier. Worst thing about moving east is the lack of easy access to great west coast IPAs.

Hazy is good sometimes, but 90% of the time I'd rather have a clear west coast style.

Love this Skeletor beer from HenHouse/Fort Point. They put it out once a year with select hops. Great hazy pale ale.

They had 8-9 beers on tap and plenty of to-go choices. Indoor/outdoor setup with cornhole & some games if you bring kids. Food truck was there selling pizzas. Give it a try.

Carney's has a good tap list? Haven't been there in 20 years.
About 35 taps. A lot of the macros but usually 5 to 10 good micro craft beers.

It's not a bad price, but without any assurances as to what you get from each brewery, I could see it being very disappointing. Even the best breweries have beers that aren't great.

I'm in Round Rock for a conference. Had this one at Pinthouse the other day. Beer was good, food was meh.

Picked up some fresh One Love and French Toast Temptress at HEB and both are good. French Toast Temptress might now be my favorite Temptress variant.

We pretty much always do Salt Traders then walk over to Pinthouse. $1 Oysters at Salt Traders during happy hour are nails.
