local breweries are making them that's why. There are a good dozen available from my go to store that are local Denver area.

I mean on a hot day drinking day, they do work well.

Hell I'm drinking a whiskey mule right now from boulevard. Came from the the seltzer section.

Yeah, I'll drink some just so I can rate them super low on untappd.

Not only are their beers great (haven't had that one but it looks nice!), their brewery is worth a visit. Was blown away by their kitchen when I went. Neat bites and plates. They also have some clean beers of their own on draft to break up the sours.

I haven't had one of their porters or stouts since going to the brewery close to 10 years ago. Really excited for that one.

Pliny for President and DDH Pliny are apparently very similar, both being DDH, but the recipe is a little different I think.

I have tried it a few times straight from the can and do not notice a difference. I always pour it into a glass now.

I think it is really just a marketing gimmick. When it first came out, hazy IPAs weren't cool, so drinking it from the can hid the haze. Also, Heady Topper in particular has a ton of sediment in it - alot more than Focal Banger. If you pour it into a glass, you are likely going to think your beer went bad due to the amount of stuff floating in it. As you drink the beer, it all settles to the bottom of the glass and you can just pour out the last sip.

Either way you are still drinking a really great beer, so you can't really go wrong.

As someone that drinks heady pretty regularly, I definitely prefer it from the can.
