Agreed, it's a shame. Unfortunately there just isn't enough diligence out there for business to operate at reduced capacity and with increased cleanliness standards. It has to be done by the company (brewery, bar) itself on their own dime.
I feel that the smart ones are the places putting in new operations and adapting to the situation. People in the long run will stick to these companies more and appreciate the effort they put into it. The dumb ones are the ones that just opened doors and went back to operations same as normal, and didn't enforce social distancing or mask wearing.
On a more grand scheme of things, I think after this whole situation, in say 5, 10 years, the general public is going to expect food and drink joints to have much better cleanliness. I think that's an expectation that more and more of the public is going to demand (and choose where to go to based off of).
Plus, it helps when a brewery is clean because then you at least know they put care into the process behind the scenes.
