My buddy and I are down. There are about 3 BA stout taproom only beers we want to try. We plan on being there for opening at 3 pm.DallasAggie2012 said:

Gonna be staying downtown tine at the Hilton for a few days this week for work, is the saucer still the spot for beers? Do they still do a special Tuesday nights?
The Saucer is the best place downtown. You could also Uber to Hay Merchant. Wooster's Garden and Holman Draft Hall also have good selections. If you want a brewery near downtown check out True Anomaly or Sigma.
Mondays are the best special at flying saucer- $4 any draft beer. Tuesdays are trivia nights, and it's themed trivia this month so the crazies will be out - would suggest avoiding that unless you're into the theme.
Conservatory also has a pretty great tap wall, cool space, and good variety of food options, and you won't come out smelling like a fry cook. (Not sure about the kitchen ventilation at the saucer, because my clothes always smell when I leave there.)

Okra used to always have a pretty good selection as well hut u haven't been there in about 3 years since I stopped working downtown.

Anything by Trillium is amazing. Congress St IPA is the best I've had. Haven't had a chance to try the PM dawn though.

A place near me is having a Goose Island Bourbon County Stout limited release. Is this a "have to get one" brew? Any recommendations on which variety to grab?

Where are you located? HEB in north Austin last year had some prior year's BCBS on shelf for a while around this time of year, and for a fair price. If you have accessibility to a place like this, try to find a prior year's regular release, buy it for $10, ice it down, try it, and you'll have the best opinion on the matter, you own.
Speaking of Russian River...did yall see that they released cans for the 1st time ever today?
