Thoughts on how the neckbeard situation/line will be at RedHorn this evening? I'm thinking about swinging by to pick up a crowler, but will be short on time.

My first thought is not too bad. The only time I have seen it a little crazy is for can releases, but I did not see a can release this time. When they did do can releases, then they would hold crowlers for a week or two. You might call and see if they are letting crowlers go immediately.AgEng06 said:

I had just a taster I think of a Brut called Don't Haze me Bro from Intrinsic Brewing in Garland. It was fine but I wasn't super impressed.

Stopped in Alpine last trip back to Del Rio from El Paso, and picked this up. Brewery wasn't open yet, so got it at the grocery store Going to try to make it back next weekend and hit the brewery. This is damn tasty, though.
Also, was home for 11 days leave the last couple of weeks, and picked up a couple of boxes of the MH Kokytux (I'm just guessing that's right) based on this thread. Looking forward to trying it! Not much selection here in Del Rio, so I loaded up on some Jai Alai and other goodies while I was home, too.

We're headed to our place outside of Alpine this weekend. If you happen to be there Friday afternoon, look for a guy in an Aggie hat. We will probably stop by for a pint before heading south.

A 5 Stones brewery pale ale that was really good. Any of y'all dig them or have much of their stuff? Feel like they're not mentioned as much as they could be.
They are 5 minutes from my house. Great place to go drink and hang with family. Shepard's boy is great

Yeah they are good. Especially when they do release of shepherds juice and what not. They have a couple of beers that are pretty dang good.
Tried this last night. Can't recommend.
I like 5 Stones too. Sheperd Boy and Sheperd Warrior are good beers.
Booked our October trip to Madison. Will finally be going to new Glarus on this trip.
