The Austin Beerworks Heavy Machinery Half IPA is pretty damn good. I can see how people would like their "watermelon" beer. The Tropical Finkle is awful.

Circle Brewery has a grapefruit IPA in cask that is outstanding.

The Real Ale girl at HEB got the sale after seeing me check a 4 pack of hop delusion date then liking my brashtallica shirt and handing me a sixer of 8 day old Axis saying 'this is much fresher that that Budweiser IPA'

Hopefully it wasn't Inspector running the karbach booth next to her

She also had big cans.

I really want to go again (the Tennessee game killed the whole day last time), but GABF is calling.

Needed something strong for dealing with credit card claims dept for hotel and rental car reimbursement for my wife getting stranded at DIA over the weekend. They do their damnedest to get you to say **** it, throw in the towel and just eat the costs.

In terms of purchasing bottles there is a Central Market near there with a pretty solid selection. Sunrise Minimart is also close-ish. If you're looking to hang out and get some beer on draft, go to Pinthouse. Oh, and grab a Crowler or 3.
