I went ahead and filled it out. My summer is open, might as well give it a shot. I'm assuming they pair you up with breweries nearby...?

I've done a lot of secret shopping over the last 10 years, but not with this company, and never at a tasting room. (I've done BJ's brewery a few times).

This guy posted on a CO beer FB group.. instantly there were people saying it's a scam and all this hah. I kind of felt sorry for him. Sign up, if they assign you and you go buy a beer or two, and they don't pay?? Oh well.

He said they are in 8 states currently. If nothing is in your area, I doubt you'd be contacted. It's all confidential, so we don't know what states they are in or who they currently are being used by.

I think I posted this a while back but we are heading to San Diego next month for a family vacation, staying in La Jolla. The boss lady has promised me a "beer night" looking for one or two good spots and maybe a few bottle shops so I can bring home some souvenirs. Any recommendations?

From reading this thread, I think you have to go to Toronado. That's really all I have to offer.

Toronado for sure. Societe is there too. If you have to take your kids to the hell I call Legoland, go to Port Pizza for dinner (kid friendly) and hit the bottle shop next door.

Was in SD last week & enjoyed our visit to the Stone Liberty Station restaurant/bar.

Yea, we're doing the whole bill, Legoland, sea world, and the zoo...thank God I have 4 days off after we get home to recover.

Shoooo, my brother chose to go to legoland for his 40th! hah.

The main Stone Brewery in Escondido is kid friendly and they have good food. Lots of guest beers on the menu too. Lost Abbey/Port Brewing is right around the corner from there.

Modern Times always seems to have kids, plus they have a coffee shop as well.

got in my truck after lunch and outside temp read 57. Definitely not a normal occurrence, but we get it now and again during CO summers.

Spent the afternoon at the lake in Boerne day drinking. The bartenders made me feel old when talking about knowing my mom as their kindergarten teacher. They graduated high school in 2012. Hahaha!
