We're headed to Boerne for a few days and then Alpine for some west Texas exploration. Definitely will be stopping by Big Bend Brewing. My wife didn't think I was serious when I said I wanted to leave at 5am for West Texas.

On the outside chance they have marfa lights, do NOT pass up that beer.
This is great, but I preferred the Peach Apricot SPON better. Also got some new glassware for Christmas.

A little warm up tonight with Bockslider, Victory at Sea, Brooklyn Black Chocolate stout 14 we found hiding in the back and then some barrel aged Legion.
The more I drink it the more I think Victory at Sea is way underated. Great taste, price, availability and ABV.
Tomrrow night were doing all the temptress variants from 15, some BBH and no telling what else.
BTW the liquor stores being closed tomorrow is some bulsh!

Here's what my drunk family put down last night along with bottles of wine and bourbon
My bottle of 9 ladies dancing was infected last night. It reeked of soy sauce and tasted worse. Any one else have this problem?
I've had two so far and no issues.
I think it's just the 9 ladies dancing. I didn't think it was good at all. Drank half a glass and pour it out.

SPON 1 and SPON 4 tasting. I prefer 1 over 4, but both are great. 1 is a little smoother and 4 had a little bitterness that I didn't get from 1. Cheers!

Last one to wrap up this Christmas weekend.
Not sure if this is the last one but it is a good one to end on. This one is the most sour of the SPONs. SPON Flor.
The Temptress night went well. Finished with BBT right as the Cowboys were wrapping up. Had never had mole temptress and was pretty impressed. A sin mint with some age on it was nice too and French quarter was a very solid second place but of course BBT was fantastic.
Also had BBH Cherry and was not a fan. By far my least favorite of the BBHs.
