I had a glass of Ardbeg scotch to start the night. Hoping I don't have to go back...

So hard to watch

Just had a Xocoveza, solid but didn't live up to the hype for me. Felt a little thin to me.

I treadmill when I get stressed...

My excitement for finally getting to try this beer just got nullified by another Aggie turnover.

Did almost the same thing Christmas Eve, without the Abt. 12. I'll post our result later when y'alls are through.

My blind ranking was

Rochefort 10 4.5
Westy 12 4.25
Abt 12 3.75

Proudly, I also guessed correctly what each glass was which surprised me.

The Westy tasted like it might not have traveled as well as the Rochefort but it was still a damn fine beer. I'm kind of excited that I liked the Rochefort the most considering I can go buy it any time I please at the store.

Thanks again Steve for making this happen. Excellent beer and glad I have tried it. So much history in a glass.

Ten Fidy tonight for me

I got my bottle of BCBS Coffee today. I'm going to drink it but just out of curiosity, what is the trade value of it?

Homebrew for me tonight, might crack open a bottle of 2014 Hole Lang Syne from Rabbit Hole at midnight.

Popped open my 1st 2015 Pumpkinator tonight. Cellaring the 2nd one for next year.



P.S. - My parents' house doesn't have much in the way of proper beer glassware. Making do.

Not much trade value as a single. If you had a vertical of 3 or 4 years or just multiple bottles then you could swing a decent trade.

I had my last BBT tonight and I just spiked my wife's Sangria with some Bourbon. Going to be a rough New Years Day.

It's better than BCBS and BBHV in my opinion. And I thought the BBHV was awesome this year.
