Finally drank my Bourbon County Vanilla Rye with family - delicious! Merry Christmas to all.

Not at my own abode this Christmas, so I've been on crown and great red wine. Not shabby at all!

Nothing too crazy today... so full from food it was hard to drink everything I wanted to, but I still managed to share one of my (barely) low-fill BBHs and an Avery Mephistopheles (17.1% ABV). Was hoping to also down the St. Arnold 20th Anniversary barleywine I keep forgetting at my parents' house, but luckily that will be fine whenever I finally remember it.

Did get a 64oz growler of Bourbon County Barleywine at Bunker Hill the other day and will split that with a couple friends while doing some brewing on Sunday, or to celebrate being done with it later.

Anyway, merry Christmas beer thread!

For not being aged at all and 17%, it's surprisingly drinkable. I'd be really interested to try it again in a year or so if someone has them for black friday. But overall yeah definitely didn't disappoint, though outside temps less than 84 would have helped.

Specs is pretty much it.

One is green the other is not? Only green label I have seen gives you face AIDS. It's the Christmas bomb.

They both are just bomb. One is green but not Christmas but the the other is the white label I'm used to having
