Prairie Noir tastes a lot better after being in the cellar (closet) for a year.

Regular Noir?

Great beer. I have 2 variations in my fridge to drink.

Yes, it was a regular noir.

I still have an Apple Brandy from last year but I might trade it. I didn't really like it last year. I'm not big on fruit flavored beers.

Draught doesn't show it now. Plan to check Krogers. Thanks

They only show their draft/growler menu online. They have fridges lining both sides of the wall for bottles. That's where I saw the Alpine bottles.

Where are you located? I wouldn't mind getting that in a trade.

Drinking my first bottle of this years BCBS. I am curious, do they use a production beer for theBCBS base or is it a specific beer they brew just for BCBS?

Specs on Westheimer and Kirkwood had plenty of Black Crack and BCBS available. I need to run back there tomorrow if anyone out of town needs any just let me know.

Nah, I drove through there last weekend for my Sister in Law's graduation in San Marcos and that was the first time I'd seen Austin in a couple years. It will probably be that long before I go back through.

How good is black crack? Might have to seek some out next week when I'm back home for Christmas. Will BBA Temptress show up in the tine?

I didn't like it as much as BCBS. BBA Temptress is already showing up starting today.

Edit: I misread that as "in time" not "in the tine."

Bcbcs is my favorite. I'm going to try to make it but the 10:00am release on my last full work week of the year is a mother****er.

Maybe I'm behind the times, but this wknd I just started seeing 12oz stubby bottles of Alpine, in sixers. One place had Duet and another had Pure Hoppiness.

Interestingly, the big bottles from the brewery have Green Flash etched in the bottle, while the stubbys have Alpine etched.

I also found 12oz cans of TwoHearted for the first time. Only ever seen tall boys or bottles.

All of those variants, including BBT, are different from one another.

I think Raspberry Temptress and BBT are my least favorite of the variants.

Never have been a fan of pumpkin beers so I found this a bit amusing

Good to know. I thought the French Quarter was the bourbon barrel variant. I knew the 3 I referenced were different from each other.

French Quarter uses the BBT barrels to age coffee and chicory. The bourbon is very faint.

BBT and FQT are my two favorites. I couldn't stand the Sin Mint but a lot of guys on here like it.

How bout BBA Legion, has it hit the market yet and does it typically show up in Houston?

Yea it seemed like the pumpkin market oversaturated this year.

Also, I loved the raspberry temptress. Forgot about that one.

I couldn't stand the Sin Mint either. FQT is ok, and I really like both Mole and Raspberry.

To each his own. I would bury my **** in Sin Mint if it were acceptable.
