Really liked that Prairie Bomb you got there. The chile flavor was really good. Obviously there, but not overpowering like it can sometimes be.

I got a couple of bottles of Karbach Hellfighter this morning.
CS Specs has the Goose Island Signature Series Sours. Grabbed a Juliet at lunch. They had Juliet, Lolita, and Halia.
Has anyone tried Halia? I was a little unsure of the peach, so I stayed away from it.

This week is gonna be rough on the wallet. Finally picked up some celebration ale, along with Deschutes Fresh Hop Pale Ale, some Double *******, and Prairie Standard. Actually passed on some 007 and Anderson Valley Wild Turkey Stout because it was just too much for today. It's just an awesome time of the year for beer and I have to pace myself.
Just finished a Velvet Merkin. It was good, but I'm more of an Imperial Stout fan.
I've been following this thread for some time, and ya'll have turned me on to some awesome beer. I've been looking for anyone that has extra bottles of Cherries of Fire. We shared a bottle at the deer lease a couple of weeks ago, and everyone flipped over it. I'd like to get some more for the next trip down. If anyone has some to spare, I'd make it worth your while. Thanks
Haven't had 005 in a while, but I don't remember it being much different than this. Still a solid BBA though. Karbach came through again.
maca - there isn't supposed to be a difference between 003, 005, and 007 from what I have gathered through conversations with Karbach sales reps. Just a really good BBA Porter. I guess they just wanted a different way of numbering the releases since they are more than once a year.

They certainly have gotten good at it. After it warmed a little bit, it gained a hint of sweetness.

Different bourbon barrels used. This was Four Roses. Not sure what was used with 003 and 005.
CS still hasnt gotten the 007, the distributor said it should be in tomorrow or Thursday.
