The FB groups are great for trading but there are a lot of idiots in those groups. Even worse than the chug videos are the trade value goalies who try to make JK God's gift to man.

yep, seen something similar.

only reason i'm on the groups is to keep an eye on what is being released and where. the majority of people who post on those groups are tool bags.

Yeah someone posted it out here awhile back. I couldn't find it, but it was PVW23 into Hunahpu I think

The site went down seconds after noon. I got the page to come up, but then it froze trying to add them to my cart. It mostly just won't even load at all now.

After an hour of constant refreshing with no luck, now they are pushing it until tomorrow at noon. I can't believe they didnt think to upgrade their infrastructure to handle the sudden influx of traffic. It's not like they haven't done this before with other releases.

Some of these breweries just don't get it with online sales. They should have known they would be hit hard with a lot of traffic. There are a ton of ticket websites that can handle the load, along with e-commerce providers that can scale bandwidth for a big release.

My guess is limited supply. Most places that make Gueuzes mix them more often whereas they only make it every 3 years.

That and just the beer community going crazy over it.

When you buy bottles, you designate if you want to pick up during business hours on 8/27 or 8/28...you know...to keep things orderly.

Hmm. I can't remember if they asked for ID and CC or just ID when I picked up Veritas last year. I haven't found anything to confirm online, just the generic "no proxies".

Anybody know?

I was under the impression the name on the billing address of the card needed to match the ID. No idea how hard they enforce that, but they're pretty adamant about no proxies.
