It's not like I think sours are bad (admittedly, sour ale isn't my preferred style). I'm just surprised at how much love they get on this thread. Interesting to know it is cyclical. When is IPA season so I can check back in?

Haha. About right. I do like Blacks in the winter, but session IPAs are the light beer of the IPA world and should be avoided at all costs. Cascade hops forever.

Just sent a few of you newer guys some Untappd friend requests. Picked up Real Ale's Commissar RIS today. Never had a bomber from them. Not expecting a ton, but still looking forward to it.

EDIT: Also got a little Pliny the Elder tonight at Whichcraft. A secret pour on the side. Always a treat.

Community is killing it these days. I wasn't a fan of some of their first offerings, but everything they do is amazing. Except that Minivan Wheat Wine or whatever it is. It's like drinking syrup.

Where are some good DFW places to grab good beer (draft or bottles to go)? I've been in Dallas about 4 months and really like Craft and Growler, Luck, and The Bottle Shop.

For reference, I live in Medical District area so the closer the better.
