Flew to Myrtle Beach then drove 30 minutes north to Ocean Isle, North Carolina.

I've taken down a few Bell's Two Hearted today. Probably gonna drain some Bell's Oberon tomorrow while out offshore fishing. I will be finding Westbrook Gose soon. And then I'll have a shower beer pic like NoCol.

And a word to the wise for the colorado folks, if y'all come across pikes peak kissing camels, their berlinerweiss pass on that ****, pretty sure it's infected and not in the good kind of way. Really none of their stuff is really that great. Perhaps they should take notes from the paradox guys when they brew there.

Wife and I stopping by B52 this afternoon on our way back to CS. I'd say they're doing well. Need to get them on tap in town.

Down in Nevis for awhile, living the good life.

Heading to DC for a trip next Sunday through Friday, any places or brews I need to look up? I was thinking of at least stopping by Capital City Brewery. TIA.

Had the 18 beer taster at russian river as well as a pliney. Unfortunately they we're sold out of pliney bottles, but walked away with a bottle of damnation and redemption, but wish my luggage could handle more.

Had Deep Ellum's Neato Bandito tonight. Solid version of a classic Mexican amber lager. Would drink again.

Also had my first Karbach.... barn burner saison. Solid as well.

Picked up a couple of Avery Rufus Corvus in FW today....$13 each. Is this what they go for everywhere? I think I only paid $10 for uncle Jacob's.

Can anyone recommend some good bottle shops in San Diego?

Are you in downtown SD? Bine & Vine and Bottlecraft are supposed to be good. I haven't been to them yet, Stone has a tasting room and small shop downtown.

My store is in Carlsbad, and the main Stone brewery and shop is in Escondido.

At Bottlecraft right now. Right across the street from Ballast Point. So many things we don't get in Texas. I don't know what to do or how to act. So many...

Already grabbed a couple of Speedway Stouts and stuff from The Bruery and The Lost Abbey.

I had some less than stellar beers on the beach in south FL, so I am making up for it tonight:

Well, I finally made it back to Texas from my 10 day Oregon/California trip. We flew into Portland and visited my wife's sister in Corvallis, then drove down the Coast to Napa Valley and San Francisco.

Pacific Star Winery, Mendocino (Pretty terrible wines, but great view)
Korbel, Guerneville (Had a hook up that got us a private VIP tour as a gift. Was actually a super informative and interesting tour.)

It was definitely interesting packing all of these on the way back back. We only managed to score ONE 12 pack wine shipper, so the rest of the bottles actually went in our suitcases. We were pretty lucky none of them broke. We did have to leave a bottle of Mumm Napa Sparkling Pinot Noir, to my wife's regret.

According to my boss who just got back from there, no, but I can't speak to it.

Going Midwestern tonight with a Hop Lobster from Springfield Brewing Company and Buffalo Sweat from Tallgrass, the latter on AggieOO's recommendation. Both very good.
